HBO’s Weight of the Nation series premieres new segment focused on children

In May 2012, HBO aired the four-part documentary series and public education initiative, “The Weight of the Nation,” which explored the obesity epidemic in the United States. The project is back this May with a new series that focuses on the health of children and families called “The Weight of the Nation for Kids.” These three, half-hour films highlight young people actively improving the health of both themselves and their communities.
