WASHINGTON, DC — Ronette Briefel, a senior fellow at Mathematica Policy Research, has been tapped to serve as one of five experts on an external scientific panel for the National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NCCOR) for a term of one year. The Collaborative, which seeks to reduce childhood obesity in the United States, is a public-private partnership of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
